The M200D Basic motor starter is a sound investment. It allows for simple commissioning via local setting elements such as DIP switches or rotating potentiometers. In addition to that, it offers an extensive diagnostics concept, even with AS-Interface.
The M200D Standard is characterized by a high degree of flexibility when it comes to the parameterization of various functions and limit values. As world’s first, it features the parameter assignment, read-out of statistic data and measured values as well as diagnostics via AS-Interface. The electronic version of the M200D Standard is also available with an integrated soft start function.

The especially robust motor starters are characterized by a wide range of functions which can be assigned flexibly. Their modular design comprises of a motor starter module and the respective communication module (PROFIBUS or PROFINET). The electronic version of the M200D Standard is also available with an integrated soft start function.

With PROFIenergy, a standardized manufacturer-independent profile, based on the Industrial Ethernet standard PROFINET has been developed, which supports you in realizing energy saving potentials in your system. By analyzing energy flows, for example, it delivers the required data in order to avoid energy peaks and adjust your plant’s energy consumption. Another way to reduce energy consumption and therefore costs is to shut down single devices or parts of your production system during production breaks – a task that can be controlled centrally via the PROFIenergy profile. Other automation components remain in operation during the break so that safety-relevant parts of your system can keep running unimpeded.
